The Nexkin solution (CE-marked and FCC approved) developed by Chronolife is a smart comfortable & washable T-shirt with companion application that collects continuous data on six different physiological parameters.

Electrodes and sensors are fully integrated in the device, allowing it to be washable without the need to remove any electronical components and leading to an improved adherence of the user.

Nexkin has been designed for risk reduction and prevention programs to support for example ageing in place and worker security in remote and dangerous environment (examples: army, firefighters, construction, oil and gas, mining).

Nexkin can also accompany rehabilitation programs after an illness or injury or allow to manage and analyze performances for sportsmen.

By providing greater insight through multiple bio-signals Nexkin facilitates customized support & management programs according to users’ specific needs

The data collected is encrypted and transmitted to the user smartphone application via a BTLE (BlueTooth Low Energy) link before being re-encrypted and transmitted to secured servers via Wi-Fi or 3G/4G networks. Collected data is then made available through a web interface for more in-depth analysis.

Nexkin is provided with a demo application as well as an SDK (Software Development Kit) for customers willing to develop their own application.
